Had a lovely 2 night stop here. Beautiful location overlooking the sea. Gorgeous, well equipped apartment with nice balcony. Friendly manager to boot. Free WiFi (good), free laundry services, free loan of bikes and even free kayaks if you wanted them. Even borrowed (free) spade to take to Hot Water Beach. Half an hour's walk into town. Fantastic coastline. Would definitely recommend Paku Lodge to anyone.
Me and my partner stayed for a night during the month of July.Great price, room is tidy and well equipped,the rooms have a great view. Extremely close to the beach and great service. We will definitely visit it again!!
Well presented property with great management in an ideal location. Ticks all the boxes - clean, good firm bed and decent shower. If you are considering accommodation in this region you can’t go past Paul Lodge.
As mentioned above, this is a great spot to stay. We stayed two nights and would’ve loved to have stayed longer. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the apartment was well appointed and very clean, although a little dated. The free use of the laundry facilities is a great asset. It’s a very pretty spot overlooking the water and it is an easy walk to some lovely little restaurants.
We have just stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful stay The location is perfect with wonderful views over the harbor We had a studio and a one-bedroom room which were both excellent The service and cleaning were also great Highly recommend.
We stayed here for two nights. It is about a 2 hour drive from Auckland Airport. The motel is in a lovely position with views of the estuary. Our apartment had a large deck with bbq. The apartment was well appointed with one exception - no aircon! The temperature had been in the region of 35 degrees and we spent an uncomfortable first night. The second night was a little cooler but aircon would have been good. The host was friendly and helpful.
We spent one night here on a whistle stop tour of Coromandel, and would happily have stayed longer. The room was large, well-equipped (including salt) and comfortable, and very clean. There were chairs and table on the balcony for relaxing and watching the view - pity it was raining - and there were kayaks for customer use. Free wifi, plenty of space and a guest laundry not far from our room. And friendly service as well. We will definitely visit and stay again.

Very beautiful place. We had a motel with ocean view. It was one room with bed, kitchen and living room. Big bathroom, free WiFi and parking, flat screen TV with a lot of channels. From the balcony, we could see the ocean. Everything was clean and comfortable.
